Living room : In living room you can have only sheer curtains for optimizing natural sunlight & you can have good control over how much u want to filter it through out the day. As sheer curtains have the tendency to filter the sun rays that can keep your place cooler by some percentage from the direct sun. Sheer curtains also help maintain the privacy to some extent.

 Blackout curtains mostly used in den room / tv room / media room to create darkness & cozy atmosphere.

Den room / Media room : Den room or you may call it media room it needs extreme darkness while functioning so advised always go for dark shade & velvet fabric preferably, absorbs sound to some extent, effective AC cooling & excellent ambiance for sure.

Light & bright color shear curtains preferred for children’s room.

 Master bedroom is the place to be calm and cozy so preference would be dark color main & sheer curtain.

Master bedroom : As we all need the bedroom t be a bit dark & cozy so a dark color sheer is recommended as it filters maximum amount of sunlight during day time and will offer maximum privacy even if the blackout curtain in not drawn at times.
